Q. How would you describe your photography style?

Words used by our clients to describe our photography style would be...artistic, unique, colorful, dramatic, and emotional.  In an industry saturated with wedding photographers, we stand out by not following photography trends.  We keep true to our photography style.  Rather than just focusing on the traditional portraits or just documenting the basic events on a wedding day, we work hard to capture candid moments of your wedding guests, after all, they're all there because they're special to you. Time and time again, we get clients, even strangers that are moved to tears by our photos.  And that is exactly what we strive to deliver each and every one of our clients.

Q. What do your wedding packages include and what is a typical investment?

All wedding packages include one to two wedding photographers, engagement session, all final edited images from your wedding day (high resolution, edited) with printing rights and a complimentary 8x8, 20 page leather album.  Associate packages start at $2195.  Elite Packages start at $3000.

Q.  What is the difference between your Associate Packages and your Elite Packages?

Elite Packages will guarantee Angie Martinez as your primary wedding photographer.  Read more about Angie here.

Virnez has two Associate Photographers, Tanya and Derrick, that have worked side by side with Angie for many years.  Although every photographer's style is very unique in its own way, their photography style reflects what Virnez Photography is all about.  Even though there is a significant difference in price, the quality of work is not compromised in any way.  Both Tanya and Derrick are award winning photographers with over 20 years of experience combined.

Q.  Will all of my images be edited?

Yes, all images go through a process of elimination.  Remaining images are then edited in regards to color correction, exposure, saturation, white balance, contrast, cropping, etc.  Additional editing such as object removals, liquifying or skin softening is available at an additional fee.  Images edited with more detail for our Blog will also be given to client at no additional charge to client.

Q.  Will client receive RAW files?

No.  We do not provide clients with RAW files.  We photograph in RAW format for editing purposes and also to provide our clients with high quality images they can print in very large sizes without losing quality.  After the editing process, files are converted to JPEG.

Q. Do you offer engagement sessions?

Of course!  We LOVE engagement sessions!!  Engagement Sessions give both the client and the photographer to become acquainted with each other.  Engagement Sessions are meant to be fun.  We get to know you and you get to know us.  It allows the photographer to get a feel for the kind of couple you are...affectionate, silly, serious, fancy, etc.  Establishing a relationship prior to the wedding will make everything run so much smoother on the day of your wedding.  While the Engagement Session is not an obligation, it's highly recommended for the aforementioned reasons.  All wedding packages include the Engagement Session at no additional charge.  Why not take advantage of it?  It's a great opportunity to take advantage of your makeup and hair trial!

Q. What does your equipment consist of?

We shoot with Canon and have a variety of lenses, from macro to wide lenses.  We have a lens for any type of situation.  However, keep in mind that no matter how fancy or not fancy the equipment may be, it's not the camera that makes a great photographer, its the skill behind the camera.

Q. Are you available for destination weddings or an engagement session that is not in the area?

A. Definitely, but a travel fee may apply.

Q. Will you be the only photographer at my wedding?

A. Most of my wedding collections include both me and a 2nd photographer/assistant to photograph your day! I'll always be the "lead" photographer because I feel it's important for clients to "connect" with the photographer's that will be capturing their wedding. I never "farm out" my couple's weddings to associates!

Q. When will my images be ready to view?

A. Your images will be available to view in a password protected online gallery within 4-6 weeks after your wedding date.

Q. What if I book a package that comes with let's say 7 hours of photography coverage and I decide that I want to add more hours later?

A. No problem. You can add hours at the package discount rate any time before the wedding and at my regular rate the day of the wedding.

Q. Do I get to choose the images that go into my album?

A. Definitely. I ask for your favorite images before I start your album design because I want you to love everything about your album, especially the images in the design!

Q. When will I receive my album?

A. Typically around 4-6 weeks after you approve your final album design although the time can vary depending on the time of year and how busy the album maker is.

Q. Do you recommend that I see my fiancé before the ceremony?

A. I absolutely encourage it! When you see each other before the ceremony I'm able to set up a “first look” where I can capture some very emotional and romantic moments. Also when you see each other before the ceremony I can get the family and bridal pictures done before so you can spend time enjoying your cocktail hour with guests. Trust me; this is better than cramming all the pictures into the small period of time between the ceremony and reception!

Q. Are you insured?

A. Yes, I am fully insured and can provide proof of insurance to your venue if necessary!

Q. Do you offer videography services?

A. I specialize exclusively in photography to give you the best images I can. I can refer you to a talented videographer though!

Q. When and where can we meet?

A. I meet with new clients at my home studio. If you have any questions or if you'd like to set up a time to meet, please fill out my Contact Form. I look forward to hearing from you!
